Shayne graduated from Hillsdale College with a degree in Finance in 1996. He was President of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and played four years of NCAA College Football. While at Hillsdale he earned the UPS Memorial Scholarship and was admitted to the Washington Hillsdale Internship Program where he worked for US Congressman Nick Smith.

Later on he graduated from the ABA Graduate school of Trust, and obtained a Certified Trust Financial Advisor(CTFA) designation.

After College Shayne joined Merrill Lynch in Auburn Hills Michigan as a Financial Advisor graduating early from the ML Professional Development Program. After three years with Merrill, Shayne joined an internet startup called Buy and Supply.com as CFO.

In 2001 he relocated to the Michiana area to raise his young family and took a position at Mutual Bank as a trust officer, eventually rising to the position of Trust Department Senior Vice President responsible for a business with 16 employees that generated over $4MM in annual revenue. After 16 years at the bank, 8 as the head of his department, he left to join Baird in Mishawaka as a Vice President and Financial Advisor.

Shayne’s wife is a pediatric nurse at Beacon Hospital in South Bend, IN. He has three children Mitchell, Aidan, and Molly. He lives in Niles, Michigan and is a parishioner at St. Pius Catholic Church. He is active within the community and with his college where he has become a member of the President's Club and Hillsdale College Gridiron Club.

Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ball State University in 1969. He married his wife, Kathy, in 1970 and has two kids Matthew and Megan. Mike had a long, successful career for 40 years at Illinois Tool Works as a Sr. Account Manager in the Industrial Packaging Division. During this time Mike was elected Chairman of the Board of MFB Bank, a publicly traded community bank headquartered in Mishawaka, IN.

After a brief retirement, Mike started a second career as a financial advisor at City Securities in 2012. A few short years later, Mike joined Baird in 2015. Initially working as a solo advisor, he teamed with Shayne Nagy and formed the Marien Nagy Group in 2022. Mike is currently President of the board of Hannah’s House, a not-for-profit organization which provides assistance to disadvantaged women.

Mike is active in the community and enjoys spending time with his four grandchildren.

Tom graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1989. In 1993, he earned his MBA from the University of Notre Dame, focusing on Business Finance and Marketing. He is licensed in Life and Health Insurance as well as Property and Casualty Insurance.

Tom has spent the majority of his career in the Employee Benefits space. He owned his own agency for 13 years before selling it to a larger firm, where he continued to work for another 13 years. During that time, he led the Employee Benefits team in our market, primarily serving middle-market employers with 100 to 10,000 employees in the government, education, and manufacturing sectors.

Tom is excited about the opportunity to join the team and is eager to make a meaningful impact by leveraging his experience to support clients and colleagues.

He lives in Elkhart, Indiana, where he enjoys golfing, running, biking, and swimming. Tom is also an avid cook and skier.

Jordyn joined Baird in May 2024 upon her graduation from Mississippi State University, where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising with a minor in Business Operations. Jordyn brings to the team a desire to learn the industry and a passion for helping clients.

Recently new to Mishawaka, Jordyn enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring the local community. On the weekends Jordyn loves to bake sweet treats and spend time with her family in the area.
